At last, after nights of wrangling, I am clearly thought.
These last few days I have been distantly aware that the metre has been in a wonderfully wet state and I have been champing at the bit to revisit the docken leaves in particular. However, in today's fresh wind and brilliant light, that metre state has passed.
Yet again, I have been caught up in time passed, accounting for “old metre exchange”!
Insomnia inflames what “Another Metre” has become - a familiar beast within my practice.
The decision to begin “Another Metre” off line and work in private was indeed the right one. However, gathering and working off line is a very different process to that of being engaged in work evolving on line. The online aspect informs not only the pace but much about the essence of the work itself.
I have become out of kilter in my step with the metre.
I am, at last however, clearly thought and rest easy with a decision to no longer attempt to account for the unaccounted! The many “omissions” within the first 6 project weeks are no longer of importance in the same sense. They will, at any rate, evolve subconsciously to emerge else where.
I am impatient to get back to the metre of now.
